A fresh, lively vermouth with notes of citrus peel beautifully balanced by Piedmont alpine herbs, with whispers of juniper and other spices in the finish. Turin-based Chazalettes first started making vermouth in 1876 and have recently resumed production – reviving their original and much-loved recipes in the process.

Aromatic yet richly textured, I purchased a bottle to make martinis but found it also worked with tonic in a long drink. This is now my go-to dry vermouth!
