Product Description
This is the 'Best Rum in the World 2020' as this won our Spirit of the Year voted for by industry experts. Bursting with notes of ripe banana, mango, olives and toffee, this rum really highlights why we're lucky that Worthy Park is distilling again. It's the first official premium rum to be released by the Jamaican estate.
The family-run Worthy Park Estate was established in 1670, and started producing rum as early as 1741. Although it was a highly successful distillery, the glut of Jamaican rum after WW2 meant that it ceased production in the 1960s. It was completely rebuilt in 2004 and now seems destined to regain its place as one of the great distilleries.

Comment
This is a rum that has increased in quality year on year, and Worthy Park is now one of the top-quality distillers in the Caribbean. Not only are they distillers but also sugar producers, and therefore they have control over the product all the way through production. This Single Traditional Pot Still rum shows exactly what this estate can do in terms of quality – a rum for sitting back, pouring a dram and rewarding yourself after a hard day’s work!

Bought a bottle while in Jamaica, an unafraid smooth refined euphony of delicate tastes, an effervescent bouquet with a seductive draw....
I have had this before but wanted a bottle for sentimental reason but tastes great too
A very very smooth rum, there is no harshness to it full of flavour as described as well as the aromas. In fact this rum is too easy, one dram is quickly followed by another & before you know it you’ve lost you’re self & half a bottle is nicely gone! I can see why this rum has been voted “best in the world”.
El Dorado 15yr old is my fave of the molasses rums and I’ll happily put it in a snifter for a guest looking for “something along the lines of an old Armagnac” but now I’ve tried this. Wow. The flavours are resplendent and the bite is compelling. A real joy. A must have if you love good rum. Trust fam!
Excellent tipple, was worried that it maybe too sweet for me since ditching sugar sometime ago, however it's marvellous. Single malt is my usual vice but this rivals some of my favourites. Definitely a keeper, would be five stars but since my purchase the devils at the Exchange have reduced the price by £5!!!!!!
