Probably the most prestigious light Cuban rum, Havana Club 3 year old infuses an extra touch of quality into rum cocktails and is great with just about any mixer we can think of.

Tried this rum, not a big fan to be honest. There's little depth of taste and what is there is quite harsh. Not sure why its highly rated.

I don't know what it is with Cuban rum but it just doesn't blow me away. It's OK.

Great rum for mojitos, one of the best rums I have tried.

This is a good rum but I can't say there is anything special about it. If you drink rum you will probably enjoy this, it has a great flavour however there are better rums, some of which are better priced and easier to obtain.

Best rum I've ever tasted! I'm a Single Malt Scotch guy but this is right there with the best.

My go to white rum, great in the summer with some OJ or pineapple juice!

Very nice, smooth with a nice flavor. The Seleccion de Maestros was exceptional, sweet and smooth!

Never liked Rum until I had this one in Cuba. Makes great Mojitos, Cuba Libres, Daiquiris.

I always thought rum was an inferior alcohol. Until I went to Cuba and drank the real thing. There is no sustitute for Cuban rum or cigars.

Daughter purchased this in duty free leaving Cuba...I am thourghly convinced this is best rum I've ever tasted. I'm a MacCallan aficionado, but found this 3 year old rum equally as satisfying...

Lovely rum for cocktails - adds depth of flavour. Good for mojitos and daiquiris equally. You can detect the bourbon barrel flavour and if you''re someone who absolutely can''t stand whisky at all you might want to avoid this.

Really great every day rum, the nose is not so amazing after 3 years to be honest, nor are any other's that I have had under 10 years. The taste on its own is again the best in its bracket, much better than Bacardi. Where it really sparkles is in any type of cocktail, mojitos taste like they were made around this and not the other way around. This has me really dying to try the older bottlings they have!

It took 41 years to find out the difference, and believe me when you try Havana Club, you too will be impressed. Havana Club is superior rum for those who demand the best and are knowledgable enough to know the difference. There are lots of good rums out there, but this one is above what you'd expect for the price. When I see bacardi at the store I just laugh and keep walking to the havana club. Can't believe it took so long to discover how good this stuff is.

    Smooth as silk!

I normally avoid white rums like the plague - too many bad memories of drinking awful cheap stuff out on the Toon. However, this is total quality and I tried it recently by accident. Sweet and smooth with none of the bitter and cloying aftertaste of Bacardi.

I was fortunate to have at least heard about this brand. Even the cheapest Cuban rum, in most cases, are better than the most expensive rums made in the USA or even the Caribbean. I live in the United States of America and any kind of Cuban rum is illegal to buy, sell, trade, or even to bring into the country. At least for now. Most Americans have never tasted any Cuban rum. You can drink a toast with friends and family and talk about what Americans have never had the opportunity to taste.

Agreed. If you're still buying Bacardi for your mojitos . . . .why?! Couple of pounds more for a much, MUCH better drink
