Product Description

Made in 1998 at Glenburgie distillery, this Speyside single malt was matured in a single hogshead for 17 years, before being bottled in 2017 for Elixir Distillers' Single Malts of Scotland range. Sweet and summery, this whisky has aromas of vanilla sponge cake, Scottish brambles, elderflower and delicate flowers. The palate offers notes of pink grapefruit, Bramley apples and lemon curd, before a gently woody finish.

Tasting Notes From The Producer
- Nose
  First some vanilla sponge cake, then sumptuous florals. There's also a hedgerow character here: blackberries, wild herbs, elderflower and honeysuckle.
- Palate
  Slightly tangy and a little bitter at first, with pink grapefruit, new oak and Bramley apple tarts. After adding a dash of water, lemon curd and barley water come along to mellow everything out.
- Finish
  Gentle woody notes, as well as ice cream cones, peach ice tea and digestive biscuits.
