A classic deluxe blend that has stood the test of time. Based on Glenkinchie with traces of other more northerly distilleries, Dimple benefits from an extended marrying period. Rich, smooth and complex.

Very smooth. I didn't try it neat though - tried with equal parts water without ice. Loved it.

One of the best whiskies (Blended or single malt) I have ever tasted. So smooth. I had one bottle left from 1980s and am looking for a liquor store in Canada which stocks it. Any suggestions?

Thank so much for sending this marvelous Whisky. I apologize for replying so late but I was waiting to drink it with my sons , here, during our holidays. I know the Dimple and all of us find it gorgeous. My best regards.

Excellent, best Scotch Whisky I have ever tasted. Have, Blue Label Johnny Walker, Royal Salute 21 yrs, Chivas Regal 12 yrs etc etc, but since the day I tasted Dimple (23-9-08, saved the bottle) I only ever taste the others for comparison.

The best blended whisky I have ever tasted. Only thing to make this better would be a longer finish.

Oldschool Blend that started my Whisky-Journey... Its smooth and quite good although the grains are a bit "hard"... especially if compared to a Single Malt.

Simply Amazing...I must say so delicious, yes very gentle to pallet with a touch of perfectly blended malts and rich fruitiness..definitely recommending to all..surely deserves 5 star ratings...

A real favourite of mine with plenty to body and finesse. As has been mentioned, the grain whisky stands out on its own, rather than a background for the malts. There is also quite a wood influence, but it all adds up to a nice and unique experience. I think the extra 3 years over most premium malts makes a big difference.

How can you tell the age of a bottle of Dimple. Clearing a deceased estate has Z897 on the bottom, must be 70 plus year old. Never opened still will original labels all in place. This is one of over 100 bottles of very old spirits, must be worth a fortune to a collector.

Picked this up recently in the US for $37, and I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this blend. It's spicy on the initial palate, with a bit of clover honey, cinnamon and baked apple. The grain is fairly apparent, but in this case it's a positive as it's some rather good grain used, and it adds a nice creamy texture to the mouth feel. For the price, it's certainly worth a look at and I believe I will be buying another bottle of this at some point in the near future!

"Nose" (undiluted): Dandelion, malt notes, apple juice and wisps of peat. I mean wisps or was that my imagination? That's how faint it was. "Palate" (undiluted): Sweet Graham crackers, some maltiness, chased by a spiciness that quicky degenerates into graininess. Also an apple cider aspect to this flavor profile. "Finish" (undiluted): The spiciness of the palate that I said turned grainy does not leave on the finish.
