Made with 100% blue Weber agave, El Rayo Plata Tequila is a clean and balanced Tequila blanco. With notes of pineapple, black pepper and wild flowers, alongside herbal agave notes, it’s perfect for sipping over ice.
El Rayo takes its name from Mexican folklore, with tells of the great bolt of lightning – El Rayo –striking the blue agave in the hills near Tequila. When a local campesino saw the burning glow in the distance, he followed it until he discovered the cooked agave and Tequila was born. El Rayo aims to embrace the culture and history of Tequila, while seeking new possibilities.

didnt know it would taste this good, not like that available in super markets, which I like. but those arent as good as this

Wow! I’m so pleasantly surprised. Quite a different taste profile to other tequilas but very positively so. I just made a margarita and found the taste and texture silky with more frothy velvety body and a profile that balanced the sour lime tang with a very subtle vanilla sweetness.

Sampled El Rayo at Blenheim Palace Christmas Market and loved it. Wish I had brought some home to the US. Let me know when it’s available on Amazon.
