Monkey Shoulder is a mix of three different Single Malts - Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie - and is great with mixers or just on its own. Smooth, sweet and very easy to drink.

This is one of the best inexpensive whiskies I’ve ever drank. It goes down nicely mixed with 80% appletizer and 20% tonic water. It’s also perfect with a few ice cubes in a tall glass. Highly recommend!

It should not be compared with regular blended whiskies, it is a blended or vatted malt. It contains no grain whisky like regular blended whiskies. That said it is smooth and has only pleasant aftertastes.

Although I really like the Balvenie range, in particular the Signature, blended with the old favourite of Glenfiddich, there is something that just catches the throat in places. I assume it is the Kininvie influence.

Very smooth blend created by a masterblender with a very developed palate.

Not too happy. Was told it was similar to Balvenie Caribbean Cask. Well it wasn't. More similar Chivas Regal.

Head and shoulders above most blended whiskies. The 3 single malts blend together nicely. If you can't always pay $50 to $80 for a good single malt try it. Pleasantly surprised.

A zesty blended malt, with hints of orange and a bit of honey? Very smooth, but the after taste is a little over-powering.

It has quickly become one of my favorites and I purchased it on a whim, with a name like Monkey Shoulders I knew I just had to try it. So glad I did, it will always be in my bar cabinet from now on.

Sickly sweet, empty uninteresting flavour. It has no defining characteristics other than overwhelming sweetness. The only redeeming quality is that it is quite smooth.
