Nice. Lots of fruit flavors and very malty. Has a unique finish that is simultaneously dry and sweet in a positive odd way----punctuated w a bite that is the characteristic of a nicely orchestrated young no age statement malt blend scotch whisky. Love the bottle art too.... :)

Have been enjoying this brand for about 5 years. Had a break from it for a year or so then happened to buy a bottle on the off chance. Enjoyed it more then ever. Very morish.

I have never ever liked scotch even a little, but this stuff is damn good. None of the band-aid-like iodine, saline, coal smoke, or medicinal flavors I've associated with it before. I know some people like that stuff, so I'll just say that if you're into the heavily herbal or "ocean-y" flavors of a peated scotch, this isn't where to find it. Now, I'm not an experienced scotch drinker, but my initial impressions are of some dried apricots, vanilla, and a touch of maple syrup and caramel on the nose, buttery on the tongue, and left my breath with a taste like torched bananas. Mostly sweet flavors and very smooth; little burn with a long-lasting warmth on the way down. This stuff is seriously excellent.

It is great on its own, with a mixer (i enjoy a well known fizzy apple drink and ice) but if your drinking it on its own dont add ice. It has no need for it. An absolute must try for those who want a bottle that costs not a lot but still has a great depth and taste. Ok its not as complex as an aged single malt but you dont judge an elephant by its ability to climb a tree. It is exactly what it set out to be, a great priced, easy to drink blended whiskey that ticks the box on its own or with mixers. Great intro to new whiskey drinkers.

Tried this malt blend in a Whisky merchants in Dumfries in 2013 when I was last home from Australia to The Lake District. Bought my Dad a bottle which I polished off with him that night. As a none scotch drinker, this is moreish!! Be careful!! Have just ordered Dad his 5th & 6th bottle for Christmas.

The drink that got me into whisky drinking, and it's by far my favourite of the lot. Unbelievably easy to drink and one is never enough If you are looking an introduction to whisky, this is simply the best option; though chances are you'll still be drinking it 20 years later.
