This Speyside single malt has been matured in a combination of American oak casks and a variety of sherry casks. This is a fruity, rich whisky with aromas of raisins, orange and vanilla. The palate offers notes of dried fruits, warm spices and rich caramel.

    Bought as a good value Xmas present. Decent single malt and unexpectedly a good peaty finish which I like. Strong and complex in the finish on the palate.

    Very good whisky and complex for the price. Sweet and no peat at all. I get mostly dark Chocolate and Banana. It reminds me of Banana Jelly covered in chocolate.

    Aroma of sweetness, the notes of vanilla and raisins are there. On tasting, for me the peatiness predominates. This was bought for me as a gift, I usually drink Bourbon, Rye and Sherry.

    Was bought this as a gift, I usually drink bourbon. Unfortunately have to disagree with a previous reviewer, for me it had a strong peaty note.
