Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes by Billy A
Nose
Modelling glue sweetness, candied lemon, spiced porridge and freshly milled malt. Fruity notes develop, with unripe mango sharpness balancing overripe banana sweetness.
Palate
Softer and creamier than the nose would suggest, with spiced sponge and lemon drizzle cakes, and sponge fingers with vanilla cream. Lemon rind sharpness pops up behind the initial softness, along with some of the sweet grainy notes from the nose.
Finish
Lemon juice tartness, barrel char bitterness and sweet cream working together in harmony.
Producer's Notes
Aroma
Rich, with vanilla sweetness on a layer of oak char from the influence of American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels. A soft floral note introduces the sweet spice of cinnamon, green pepper, and garden mint. Beautifully rounded with hints of green apple and banana.
Taste
Full, with the sweet spice of vanilla, cinnamon, and liquorice and the flinty note of barley grains. Ripe fruit combines with the charred oak, adding to the complexity.
Finish
Sweet spicy flavours that linger, fading slowly to leave the last word with the barley.

I have a bottle of 2015. Simply outstanding.
Fantastic Whis key!!!
It's an experience that everyone should have at least once in their lifetime. I drink it neat because it's perfect all by itself.
If you love whiskey, do yourself a favor and grab a bottle and have it neat. I'm a bit of an Irish whiskey snob, and this one blows everything else away. Price is fully justified.
I absolutely love this whiskey. It is one of the few Irish whiskeys that I enjoy over the rocks. It is smooth and those people who I have let sample it were blown away. It has me sold on drinking straight Irish whiskey.
