Product Description
A 2003 Bowmore single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers that was matured in a single barrel for 17 years, before being bottled in July 2021 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland Range. Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
From The Producer
Nose
A salty walk on the beach on an autumn day: sea breezes mingling with plumes of peat smoke from a nearby chimney. Fresh prawns, with Marie Rose sauce, are served for supper, followed by a dessert of pineapple-and-mango purée, with a touch of toffee sauce
Palate
Stewed apples and pears appear alongside a vase of freshly-cut flowers. Himalayan salt flakes and intense smoke from a coal fire bring a flinty, coastal edge
Finish
Long and briny, with burnt, caramelised apple crumble
