      Rich and full, with aromas of cinnamon and chocolate.

      A plush palate of dark chocolate cake, candied orange peel and sweet spice, enlivened by a mild peppery backnote.

      Lively and peppery, with more of that seductive citrus character.

    Orange, chocolate and caramel. Very smooth. An exceptional blend. Japanese whisky at its best.

    Very smoky and "oaky" (with maybe some cedar/mahogany/maple wood thrown in there). Longest lasting finish I have ever experienced, which isn't a bad thing. Incredibly complex all in all - you will be tasting different notes up to the 2-3 minute mark of tasting it in your mouth. Would have gotten a 5-star if it had a hint more sweetness. By no means is it a "harsh" Scotch type whiskey though.

    Quite harsh. Not too bad but not top of the list...Slightly crude finish, less aromatic than expected

    At first it will definitely bark at you,then really ~mellows down to a fabulous after taste, combining hint of citrus,cherry, vanilla oak , chocolate. Wow the last drop will blow your mind! Great marketing with the plain, 500 ml bottle. Fantastic VALUE!
