I would have given 5. but then I thought, I'm giving it that because it's better than I expected. The reality is it doesn't touch the mid range speysides pr highland malts. Nor the best of Irish or Japanese. It's alright
Absolutely outstanding. Beats many a Speyside offering.
Bought this one recently after a visit at the distillery and I am astonished by the quality and taste of a only 4 year old single malt. Right now, I am sipping the last drink of this bottle and while I have to admit it has oxidised a bit as I left the last three drinks in the bottle for couple of months still, ir feels like a very easy drinking and rounded whisky. Definitely recommended at this price point as it is much better than a lot of other 12 year olds. Slainte ????
Fantastic smell of banana and mint and a lot of sweetness. You have to be quite patient with this one as it's quite sharp on the palate, but if you wait until the sweetness kicks in you'll be rewarded. Nice after taste too.
