Very clean and smooth with no burn. slightly sweet with the barest hint of after smoke. Loved it.
Yes this is a subtle rich flavor prefer the 25yr but the price is right on this wee dram ......enjoy
This is probably one of the worse 18 year old whiskeys I’ve ever tasted. It must be mislabeled, should have been 8 year old. Very disappointed. 25% water and barley drinkable.
I write this as I sip my last beloved drops of this whisky. One of my favourites, for sure, and I swear it got better with time. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, though I fear this particular expression (in the old bottle) may be nigh-impossible to come by these days. If you see it, buy it.
Terrific whisky from a terrific distillery. Long and sweet. Excellent dram.
