Golden in colour and honeyed on the palate, The Nectar is made by finishing Glenmorangie single malt in casks used to age some of the world’s great sweet wines. These include Sauternes and Monbazillac from France, Moscatel from Spain and Tokaji from Hungary. A fitting successor to the discontinued Nectar D’or and an excellent after-dinner dram.

this is a nice whisky lovely color but the whisky exchange notes say its a 5 for sweetness and I like sweet whiskys it's sweet but not sure as sweet as a 5 also I find it has a bit of a kick when you first drink it but it dosen't linger in your taste for to long it might taste not as strong with a drop of water. it's still a nice whisky

I've been a returning customer of TWE for a number of years now and I'm pleased to say the quality of service remains very high and consistent. Ok, that's a pat on the back for TWE, now one for Glenmorange. The Nectar 16 year old is a delight. I find the tasting notes very accurate and would add that it has a pleasing long finish. This is a malt that would serve well at the end of a dinner instead of brandy.
