Smooth and sensible
Pleasantly surprised! As a drinker and bartender I'm surprised I haven't tried this before. I always assumed it was of poor quality. While I've been a vodka drinker for years, I used to be a whiskey drinker. I bounced around to different brands but now can't really touch the stuff save for the occasional shot of Jameson. The colder weather compelled me pass up my normal vodka for a bit of whiskey and Seagrams was the most affordable in the size I wanted. It is so smooth I didn't need a chaser. This is a good choice for non-whiskey drinkers and whiskey drinkers alike. Some brands are too strong for me like Jack & Makers but this is my new go to! You can't go wrong w/ the price point! I hate how trendy certain liquors become driving up the price. Seagrams is an old standby, very popular in the 70s. I'm happy to patronize this brand and let the snobs stick to their $40 bottles.
This was my Grandad's whiskey of choice. Sadly we had to lay him to rest this week. He drank this after a successful hunt, or family event. This will always be my choice of whiskey for its strong yet smooth flavor, price, and I will always remember my Grandad with every drink of it. R.I.P Grandad Lee
A mild blend. Goes down easy. Attractive price.
I like this, though I have been drinking Jim Beam, but will drink this more now. I mix with Diet Coke. Mixes very well.
