A fruity and perfectly balanced Dailuaine, rich with notes of ripe pears, fallen leaves and apple pie with sugar and cinnamon. After 12 years in a rejuvenated hogshead, this single cask whisky is a natural deep amber colour with aromas of nutmeg and almond. While you could enjoy this Speyside single malt at any time of year, we found its fruit and spice profile the perfect choice to represent autumn in our limited-editions series, The Seasons. This great Speyside distillery produces several different styles of whisky. This means that there are Dailuaine single malts out there that range in character from the soft and waxy to the heavy and savoury. This particular cask shows the softer side of Dailuaine, beautifully textured and full of white fruits, a perfect dram for Autumn.

To perfectly capture the sense of long, chilly evenings and leaves turning golden, we’ve paired this rich and fruity Dailuaine with a vibrant young Caol Ila, and a heavily peated Ledaig with notes of pumpkin pie and candied ginger. These three whiskies form part of The Seasons, a series of limited-edition bottlings created to embody the flavours of summer, autumn, winter and spring. Each will be limited in number to the outturn of a single cask, presented without chill filtration or added colouring, to preserve the character of the whisky.
