The Yamazaki Golden Promise – made with heritage barley – and The Yamazaki Islay Peated Malt show us different aspects of the famed distillery’s fruity and refined character. While the Hakushu 18 Year Old Peated Malt increases the smokiness found in Hakushu’s flagship whiskies, creating an elegant palate of citrus oils and green tea wrapped in delicate, refined peat. Collectors will also be excited to see in the lineup an 18-year-old Yamazaki matured entirely in precious Mizunara casks. Filled with notes of apricots, sandalwood, yellow plums and incense, this is Yamazaki at its very best.
