Product Description
Exclusive to The Whisky Exchange, this is a graceful, well-aged whisky from a bottler fast gaining attention. It was matured in a quality bourbon barrel, offering aromas of kumquat and lychee, with some lemon drizzle cake. On the palate, there is the brightness of grapefruit sherbet with delightful little hints of cut grass and toasty Chardonnay.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Chris Bolton, The Whisky Exchange
Nose
Kumquat and lychee, with some lemon drizzle cake and zest green apples. Just a hint of freshly hewn pine and sandalwood.
Palate
Slightly grassy at first, with white grapefruit and sherbet balanced with chewy tapioca and toasty Chardonnay. Elegant and refined.
Glen Elgin Distillery
This Speyside distillery is finely tuned to create intensely fruity whiskies. Clear wort, long fermentation and unhurried distillation makes for a bright, juicy spirit which is collected using traditional worm tub condensers for added weight and texture. Though much of Glen Elgin’s output is blended, mature bottlings of its single malt show the beautiful elegance and refinement the distillery is capable of.
Gleann Mór
Since 2015, this Edinburgh-based independent bottler has built a sterling reputation among whisky fans by bottling exceptional, and often unusual, single malts from across Scotland. Each whisky in the Gleann Mór Rare Find series comes from casks hand-selected by spirits manager Greg Urquhart.

Exclusives
Here at The Whisky Exchange, we assess thousands of samples each year to find the very best spirits to offer exclusively to our customers. While single cask whiskies like this Glen Elgin have been an essential part of what we do for more than 20 years, we also scour the world to bring you exceptional bottlings of rum, brandy and more.
