Product Description
Hellyers Road Distillery is a cornerstone of Tasmanian whisky history, first established as a dairy cooperative before transforming into a premium whisky distillery in 1997. As one of the earliest producers of Australian single malt whisky.
A unique feature of the distillery is its Journeyman Program, which invites whisky makers and spirits specialists from around the world to work at the distillery for six months at a time. This cultural and technical exchange allows for the sharing of global whisky-making techniques.
This Whisky has been matured for 10 years in seasoned Oloroso sherry casks, developing deep, indulgent flavours of toffee, orange zest, clove, caramel and stewed fruits. A rich and warming dram, perfect for long winter nights.
