Hellyers Road Distillery is a cornerstone of Tasmanian whisky history, originally established as a dairy cooperative before evolving into a premium whisky distillery in 1997. As one of the pioneers of Australian single malt whisky, Hellyers Road is renowned for its true sense of place.
While most of their whiskies are made from 100% Tasmanian barley, this peated expression features Scottish-sourced barley, selected to meet the distillery’s exacting standards.
Expect layered tasting notes of sweet black tea, oyster shells, and subtle campfire smoke, followed by a delicate touch of lingering sweetness on the finish.
