The first of what has become a series of successful cask-strength Bowmore vintage releases. Classic Bowmore fruitiness with balanced peat.Tasting Notes (1)
Tasting Notes by Jim Murray
A youthful aroma with smoking peat embers.
Dazzling, multi-layered peat offers various layers of intensity and sweetness, from Fisherman's Friend cough candy to Tyrolean smoked cheese.
Long with excellent vanilla involvement and a dash of buttery kipper.
The nose promises little, but the complexity and sure-footedness of this malt is truly wonderful.
