Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Producer's Notes
Nose
Soft ripe orchard fruit: apricot, plum and quince, with a touch of vanilla.
Palate
An explosion of fruit: banana, mango with honey, and peach cobbler that lingers on the finish.
BIlly Abbott, The Whisky Exchange
Nose
Vanilla sponge cake dressed with fruit – mango, papaya, banana, dried apricots and ripe plums. Sweetshop notes of gummi bears, pineapple cubes and rhubarb & custard sweets follow.
Palate
The fruit from the nose leads, balanced by a core of oaky spice. Sweet vanilla notes develop along with sharper apple and a touch of polished oak. Fruit notes build over time and dominate.
Finish
Even more fruit: tinned pineapple, lychee and pear, sliced and served with a slab of spiced vanilla sponge cake..
Comment
Inchmurrin is Loch Lomond's fruity spirit, and this has that character in spades.

Not quite as drinkable as I'd hoped, perhaps for the more seasoned palate.
