Product Description
A bold and expressive dram with notes of fruit preserves, Christmas cake, treacle toffee, and dark chocolate truffles. Savoury touches of imperial stout and dried mushrooms round out the picture, alongside intense spices that persist over a long and warming finish. This robust profile is achieved through ageing in a combination of dry oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximenez sherry casks along with new American oak barrels. Glenallachie’s flagship single malt has become something of a cult favourite among whisky lovers since it made its debut back in 2018. If you love a big, rich Speyside then we can’t recommend this bottling enough.

Lovely drop
One of my favorite drams is Dalmore 15. I know some people say that it’s overpriced for what it is but I guess you like what you like. I enjoy it, it’s smooth, it’s sweet and it’s a classic. Now, let’s talk about GlenAllachie 12. One of the best whiskies I’ve ever had. It’s a wonderful drink enjoyed by itself or which a nice cigar. And at under £50 it’s a steal. If you like sweetness, complexity and smoothness as I’m sure most of you like, you won’t go wrong with this delightful dram. 46% abv can be a bit intimidating but this whisky is so smooth that it literally has no burn. If you enjoy Balvenie double cask, GlenDronagh 12 or a Dalmore 15, this dram it’s on a next level. Enjoy

Bought this blind based on recommendation from staff in store and I'm very happy as I've loved every last drop of it! Returned to store not long after to buy another bottle which was sadly sold out (can understand why) So I've purchased the glenallachie 15 and their new peated sister brand to add to the collection / compare But will definitely get the 12 again soon when I finish the last bit off... Cask strength version of this will be very welcome. Flavours are very well balanced and is moreish!
