An indulgent single malt with layers of rich fruit and spice, this 15-year-old single malt has been matured in a combination of sherry casks. These casks have imparted sweet aromas of dark cherries, golden syrup, toffee, figs and hazelnuts that fill the nose, followed by notes of heather honey, orange peel, cocoa and ginger throughout the palate.

My entire mouth is on fire after drinking this whiskey this latest release I don't rate it. It's a hot spicy sherry bomb. Not much else going on
Definitely a dessert whiskey. It smells of chocolate or coco powder and tastes of cherry and chocolate, with orange and ginger coming on later. How? No idea. Really nice mouth feel too. If served after a dessert containing chocolate, cherries and maybe some orange essence your guests will be talking about the meal for years to come.
One of the first whiskys I tried and a firm favourite to this day.
Simply excellent. Best value for money
Tried this for the first time last night (an early Christmas present), and wow, this is an excellent malt. If you like your sherry cask malts, then you'll like this,,, rich, sweet, and deep,,,, sublime. Well done all at Glenallachie!
