At Jacquesson they like to challenge the accepted rules of Champagne and push boundaries. Based in Dizy, they grow 80% of the grapes they need. They carry out the first vinification in old oak casks to allow the wine to breathe giving an added dimension to the final juice.

Unlike many Champagne houses who blend the wines to keep consistency and hide vintage variation, Jacquesson want to highlight the vintage variations, and they use the reserve wine purely to add complexity. The wine will change each year hence the change in number on the bottle each year.
