Port Mourant

Port Mourant

Rum

Established in 1732 as a cotton plantation in Guyana, Port Mourant Estate did not cultivate sugar until at least 1813 when sugar became popular and profitable. Port Mourant is now referred to the legendary still used by the distillery - a wooden double pot still with copper swan necks, this setup produced a great reflux which in turn gave a rich and full-bodied pot still rum.
