Chateau de GaubeArmagnac
A stunning estate in the heart of Bas Armagnac that produces some of the most elegant brandy in the whole region. Looked after by the Morel family, who since leaving Algeria in 1956, have been producing long-aged vats of Armagnac. Unusually for a producer, the Morels favour the Baco grape, a variety that was the primary variety until the 1980s, when Ugni Blanc took a foothold in the region. Armagnacs from Chateau de Gaube are exclusively available from Darroze, a family-owned company of blenders and bottlers of the finest of brandies.
