A descendant of one of Mexico’s most renowned tequila families, Don Jorge Salles Cuervo struck out on his own path in 1959, founding El Tequileño, named in honour of the town of Tequila itself. Combining highland agave, volcanic spring water and traditional craft with modern influences, the distillery produces clean, expressive and approachable tequila.
