Customer Rating
A really tremendous new gin made, unusually, by a whisky producer - Caorunn (pronounced 'ka-roon') hails from Balmenach distillery in Speyside and is flavoured with Scottish botanicals including rowan berry, heather, dandelion and coul blush apple.

Probably my favourite gin at the moment. Only another couple of hundred to try. If I was going to be churlish I might say it's a bit too smooth, not quite enough bite. I haven't tried it with apple as suggested by some other reviews yet so will try that. Tend to switch between this and Opihr at the moment which I tend to prefer with ginger. Both top notch gins though however you take it.

Laced with some very thin slivers of red apple over ice, classy and decadent. Blows Hendrix out of the water

I find it a lovely distillate, but short of gin flavour. As Botanicals gins, I enjoy more " Uncle Val" and " Botanist "

Was recommended by a lovely lass in the Whisky Exchange - I have toasted her health through the whole of the bottle - the most delightful gin in the world - and yes a stunning summer tipple with a slice of red apple. A must try before you die !

Bought this as a gift and got really great feedback. Apparently lovely with apple. I'm not a gin fan but this was a really nice present to give and a bit more special than the norm.

An interesting if very subtle gin, unique botanicals doesn't make for a particularly unique flavour profile. recommend drinking this over ice or in a cocktail a bit too subtle for a G&T as you basically need to mix it 50:50 for the flavours of this gin to come through. 76/100
