This new Bruichladdich 1989 'Black Art' has been matured in "bourbon and assorted wine casks" before bottling at 19 years old. Apparently this is a follow-up to the successful Blacker Still bottling from a few years ago.

Decided to open my bottle the other night and was surprised how enjoyable it was.Not really a fan of finished whisky;there is a lot of wine on the nose but found the malt comes through in the mouth, still prefer my malt as it should be,unsullied.
