Product Description
A heavily-peated single malt from Jura Distillery, matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, Prophecy is a sweet and smoky whisky. Aromas of floral heather, brazil nuts and salty sea air fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of smoky bacon, maple syrup, liquorice and dried fruit.
This whisky is named for an island prophecy, predicting the downfall of the Campbell clan, who ruled over the island for many generations. This prophecy stated that the last of the Campbells would leave the island with one eye and all his worldly possessions in a single cart, pulled by a white horse.

Have to agree with Alex below, this is Jura's star malt.Rancid is a bit strong about the range however. It is just that the signature spirit is a bit anaemic and takes a lot of patience to coax things out. That said ,this is a cracking NAS.Pity about the 'need 'to add colour though
The only top quality core bottling Jura have released. Rich and Smokey, this could compete with almost any NAS expression from neighbouring Islay… bring it back, the current core range is rancid.
My second bottle, this is a fine single malt to add to your collection not heavily peated as stated but just enough to satisfy the palate
A lovely drop this. Smooth with just the right amount of tarry rope. Exceptional price for such a fine dram.
Excellent nose and an even better taste. Highly recommended.
