A bottle of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel – a richer variation of JD, with less sweetness and more power than the No.7. A favourite in bars, this is a must for aficionados.Tasting Notes (2)
- White Pepper
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Toasty notes from the oak, and well-defined aromas of honeyed fruit and golden syrup. Rich, but still clean and precise, with an appealing nuttiness.
Drier than expected, this is a big-hitting bourbon, with broad brush strokes of honey, popcorn and cinnamon, countered by punchy, peppery notes, some numbing clove notes, and toasty oak. Less sweet than the No.7, and all the better for it.
Spicy fruit and oak persists.
Tasting Notes by Billy A
Rich and sweet-smelling with golden syrup, demerara sugar, polished and varnished old furniture, nougat, pleasing leafy herbs, fennel, liquorice and sugared almonds.
Spicy initially, followed by a wave of oak and honey; it becomes very leafy next, with the herbal notes in the background, before a secondary wave of sweet clove-flavoured rock and wood glue.
Great length, with a tingling herby spiciness and fading honeyed sweetness.

Single Barrel is a little weird. Most times, you get a great cask, but occasionally, the taste is so bad you can barely stomach it. It's worth the risk, and if you don't like it the first time, give it another go with a different vintage. You might be surprised.
Smooth, and unmistakably Jack
Great service. Definitely recommend to everyone!
Love it – great buy
I got this as a present and I love it. The taste is just strong enough and the single barrel makes it even more special. I believe it should not be mixed.
