Customer Rating

Immensely potent superstrength version of the cult Austrian favourite. Delicious in coffee and commonly added to desserts (particularly flambes) as well as cocktails.

Please Note

  • This is a high-strength product and we recommend not drinking it neat – please enjoy this diluted or with a mixer of your choice.

Very flavoursome. Don't let the high alcohol content fool you, it's definitely a very nice taste..

Very nice with a splash of coke. It doesn't take many so be careful but definitely worth a try

I didn’t like this. The Strohl I’ve tasted before seemed less like cleaning fluid that this one. Wondering why?!

Discovered this when working in Brussels in the 70's. NO DOUBT -- it is DANGEROUS. However -- only if consumed 'straight' and in more than shot. Otherwise -- EXCELLENT for cocktails, mixers, punches and hot drinks. Lovely aroma and taste.

sorry, its awful. the problem is that its so strong that the flavour is masked by the alcohol content. sure its strong, but if thats your only criteria, just drink ethanol! its flavour is very light, theres nothing really aside from the alcohol content. fine if you want something to burn on an xmas pudding, or to get incredibly drunk incredibly fast, but as a rum to drink, id choose pretty much anything else. only a nation without a navy could make this and call it rum . lol.

When I was stationed in Germany between 1972-1975 I discovered this product. Absolutely amazing taste and I was so disappointed to find that it was unavailable when I returned to the States. Delicious!

Best straight up shooter ever. When partying I always buy me n 1 liter bottel and drink as is but ice ice cold, when bottel starts freezing, its the best way to drink served cold, for the softer drinker, mix with sparlette sparberry or fanta grape. Best ever, product should not be used for cooking your wasting good money.. thanx stroh without you my life would have never been so fun..

WARNING: THIS STUFF GETS YOU DRUNK. No, seriously, this stuff is very powerful, be careful with it; only shoot it if you have a chaser, it will make your throat and stomach feel like they are on fire, and even then I really recommend mixing it rather than drinking it straight. That being said, the flavor is amazing! Very sweet with strong rum flavors (warm vanilla, brown sugar, and I think I get a little spice flavor in there too), goes great in hot chocolate (Mexican-style hot chocolate in particular melds exceedingly well, in my humble opinion). Enjoy it but remember this stuff packs twice the punch of your garden-variety liquor.

Best rum, especially for flambes. Very drinkable for the strenght it has. Some strong drinks leave a bad taste and burn but this is just warm nive flavour.
