Customer Rating
SangSom is a gold medal winning rum from Thailand, picking up awards back in the 1980s before disappearing from the international scene until the 2000s. It's massive back home and is fortunately now getting out into the wider world again.

This product is delicious. Formerly I would only consume the market leader white rum but was introduced on holiday and surprised to learn that it is very drinkable despite it's Thai price being quite inexpensive. Really light hangovers too in comparison. I will be making an order.

I am not usually a rum drinker but this rum is exceptionally smooth more like brandy to me

I've visited Thailand a few times now. I used Sang Som in my rum and Cokes. Very smooth and it never gave me a hangover...trust me, almost every liquor gives me a headache. I need to get back to Thailand soon!

I live in Thailand. I like to make rum-based cocktails like authentic mai-tais, zombies, etc. I bypassed Sang Som for years in favour of Havana Club, Appleton, Mount Gay, Bacardi Black, etc. for mixing these cocktails. At the price (about 1/5 of the others) I assumed it was c**p. I tried it awhile back and now it is all I use. It is a perfectly acceptable rum of the caliber of the brands mentioned above. It's my standard now.

Guest say, "I don't sip hard alcohol but his is good". Amazingly easy drinking and no hangover. I am sensitive and often drinking leaves me gutty or headachey. Not this rum.
