This the very best. I, also, use it with fresh squeezed late harvest white grapes to make Angelica. Must ferment for a few months to age in a barrel. The best aperitif. Azorean delight.

My wife brought a bottle back from Portugal, so glad that I could find a supplier in the UK. A beautiful smooth brandy, definitely one to be savoured, and not rushed. if you like brandy, you''ll love Macieira.

Delicious. Very delicate in spite of a strong character and smell. Very sweet finish and, believe it or not, much better than Metaxa 5 or even 7. Quite affordable in Portugal. Try it and you will never forget it. Cheers.

It come very close to Metaxa 7*,but not quite up to Parthenon which I only ever found in Crete at the airport years ago
