Since the Teelings parted company with Cooley, the company they started, we've been waiting for their return and here it is – Teeling Whiskey. Finished in rum casks and bottled at 46% without chill-filtration, it's an excellent statement of intent. The blend is said to contain a high proportion of first-fill bourbon cask whiskey, and a higher-than-normal ratio of malt to grain.

Yummy. Hints of caramel. Does not bite. Easy drinking. I prefer on the rocks. Sweet smelling. Light in color.

Not a fan at all. According to the distillery tour guide the maize whiskey content is very very high. Almost tasted like a bourbon to me. Nope.

I received this Teeley Irish Small Batch as a Fathers' Day gift from a great son who buys the best for his Dad. First taste caught me off guard because it was so smooth with a pleasant sweet flavour. When we added a pinch of water the favours changed slightly and the spices & rum were more disscernible. After my first glass I was definitely a fan and I was ready to show off my gift to my Jameson drinking friends. Positively a spectacular find!

Type of thing you either love or hate because of the rum influence. I love it and think it's very well balanced and very Irish. It's far more complex than you would normally see at under 30

thx but no thx, looking at all the great reviews here maybe I have tasted the wrong sample... but actually doesnt look like it, okish nose, but way too much cask influence (fresh oak?), brrr, keep it closed

Good work fellas. I'm a bourbon guy but the way this finishes keeps me wanting more. It starts off super smooth and brightens up all the way down. Love it on the rocks but straight it has so much defining character. The Phoenix is a great touch! I raise a glass to bringing the art back to the city! Cheers!
