Solera Gran Reserva
Lepanto is the only brandy to be distilled in the city of Jerez. Established in 1886, the company's brandies are all made from Palomino grapes and aged for 15 years, the difference being the cask used. The Solera Gran Reserva is matured in Fino casks, leading to a dry and elegant delicious brandy.

On the nose are notes of caramel and vanilla together with dried ?almonds.
Dry and delicate on the palate, with hints of nuts.

This is an excellent Spanish brandy. The color is deep. The aroma is fruity with a hint of almonds. Love it!
I have had this brandy in the early 70's while overseas, I must say the taste still lingers.
This was suggested to me in lieu of a lesser priced Brandy that I was in the store for. After very brief consideration I bought the bottle and sampled it that evening. Unfortunately for me price wise I won't be going back to the Lesser brands. I found it to be very smooth on its initial sampling and it continued to get better with each ensuing sip.
