Product Description
Distilled in 1971 and matured in a small batch of excellent quality Oloroso sherry casks, this 33-year-old dram first appeared in 2004. At that time, it was the oldest Glendronach ever committed to glass and quickly developed a serious reputation among collectors and enthusiasts. Even at 40% ABV, this is a great example of this famed Highland distillery’s work, mellow and concentrated after decades in the bottle. Dark chocolate, cigar boxes, cocktail bitters and jellied red fruits meet a savoury side with demi-glace and woody herbs.

Tried a bottle of this with the golf group on our 20th anniversary trip in 2018. It was memorable. A very tasty sherry bomb. I thought it required a few drops of water (because of the heavy sherry) but that unleashed all kinds of flavor. A wonderful drink if you can afford a taste! Alas, it was gone too soon.
Sweet, warm and luxurious
Stewed fruit and spice. There is nothing better in my opinion.
Not to be missed. The bottle is now empty. It should be drunk and not kept as it was made to enjoy, and enjoy it I did. Lovely, smooth and full of flavours.
I had a wonderful taste just two days ago, this is one of the best and oldest malts I have ever had, it was amazing...
