This expression of Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey is made from a mashbill of 80% rye, 15% malted barley and 5% malted rye. Aged for six months in charred, new oak quarter casks, it is then finished for three months in casks which used to hold port, adding fruity sweetness to the classic spicy rye whiskey.

Dark, robust color with a nose of deep florals, fruit and spices.
Forward pepper yields to the port fruit on the mid-palate, complemented by cinnamon and cloves. Coats the tongue and finishes with black cherry.
