    I am a scotch drinker and up until now egg Glenfiddich fan, however I cannot recommend this product. This product, like any other non aged Scotch product, is just that, A NON AGED SCOTCH PRODUCT! Slapping a fancy label on the bottle and charging three times the price does not improve the product. I bought two bottles gave one as a gift and I'm embarrassed; Glenfiddich 12 years old taste better than this. Oh, did I mention the 12 years old is only half the price. Because of this stunt Glenfiddich has lost me as a customer, I will stick with Glenlivet, Dalmore, or Glenmorangie.

    Maris the otter,

    Exceptionally well balanced as both characters shine through. Smoked pears basically. This is on a par with the much lauded Ancnoc Rutter. A gentler version, but lovely nonetheless. The strength is apposite as the 40% works: any higher and I think one or the other of its constituent parts would have dominated. Its getting pricey, so get it before it breaches the ?100 mark. Lovely packaging too - would make a nice gift!
