Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose: As fresh and invigorating as a walk on the seafront. Briney, cough sweets, liquorice, and fresh herbs (sage and rosemary).
Palate: Richer than expected, with warming notes of black pepper, sea salt and ozone, as well as a hint of honeyed fruit. Good weight.
Finish: The well-balanced peat acts as a seabreak to the subtle but welcome fruit.

One of, if not the best blended whisky I have ever had! Wonderful sweet peat, with an amazing briny taste. A true maritime malt.
Expected salt and it delivers! Really good blend
one of my top go to whiskies. never dissapoints.
Everything you look for in an island malt whisky. Tired at a whisky tasting recently and came back for more. Delicious straight up or with a bit of salted caramel which is what I was recommended to try.
An excellent discovery. I'm delighted to have found this whisky. Jam packed with maritime qualities as well as a real sweetness. Love love love it!
This whisky is obviously not for everyone. I appreciate the quality and smoothness of it but goddamn this tastes like seawater with a touch of honey and peat and I think I would prefer a whisky that tasted like peat and honey with a touch of seawater. It's very salty too, like a salt whisky. For me it is bizarre. I thought the Timorous Beastie was the bomb though.
Excellent peated malt blend with a strong warmth, full body and pleasant saltiness. Great combination of my favourite island flavours.
One of the most unusual whiskeys I have ever tasted. It''s salty, yet has a fresh citrusy edge and a sweet smokeyness to it which balances the saltiness. Having purchased it last week it is now one of my favourite whiskey blends and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys whiskey.
Fabulous full bodied, smoky and salty. You can taste sea air. Great blend. Beautiful flavour
