Tasting Notes by Dawn Davies MW
This is the top cuvée in the Giraud stable, all the fruit comes from the Ay grand cru and the wine is fermented in oak from the Argonne forest.
The nose gives rich notes of baked apples, with raisins and cinnamon on the palate. This follows through with honeyed brioche covered with roasted hazelnuts and it has a very long rich finish.
