    We first encountered Licor 43 in 2013 in the Embrujo Spanish Restaurant, then located at Stracey Arms on the River Bure, later it moved to Acle but is now sadly shut, when we were on a boating holiday. The proprietor gave us a complimentary drink at end of our meal. We returned on our next boating holiday, given it again and this time asked what this lovely drink was : the answer "Licor 43". Now regularly buy it as a birthday or Christmas present for my wife. As liqueurs go it is top of the class!
