Intrigued, I ordered 4. The shape is unique - I typically taste with 4,6, and 8 oz "tulips". Eaux de Vie, Cognac, and Scotch are tasted. Positive: 1. Remarkable shape from the Art Deco - they could easily make a nice display. Kind of a shame to lock the design away in some cabinet. 2. Function - the nose is accentuated. If you do not inhale when you taste, (which is easy due to the tiny opening) the alcohol burn is subdued. Very revealing and very interesting. Possible negatives. The glass is heavy - not like crystal. Sturdy for sure. Also - a little expensive - it was almost $40/stem delivered to CA, USA. In sum, I like it and I recommend.

Just buy it. It is the best glass I have used to nose whisky. It accentuates the nose but also reduces the alcohol burn.
