    What's with the plastic screw cap seriously!! Fantastic looking bottle that looks perfectly out of a bygone era then they go on stick that thing on top! These things matter. Great whisky but I can thing of a few that are not far away at all and considerably cheaper.. Teachers anyone!

    Us Scotch drinkers in Hawaii were recently introduced to the 17 year old Balentine Original. Finding this fusion (we use fusion here rather than blend) to be one of the most superior fused scotch that we have ever drank. Be assured that we will continue to add this to our weekly wee dram tasting endeavor.,

    Enjoyable. I have to drink this interspersed with my favorite Glenlivet 18 because I could go through 5 bottles a month easy and that is 5000 bucks a year which is out of control. So I throw this into the mix. I will not add water or cubes to the Glen but with the Balllantine a few cubes go a long way.
