- Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
- Distillery Bottling
The second release of 2000 vintage whisky from one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries. Matured in ex-bourbon casks for 13 years and finished in Spanish oak butts for a further five years, this is a spicy, creamy and honeyed single malt that still retains Balblair's citrus and orchard fruit characteristics.

Tasting notes from the producer
Nose: Full bodied with aromas of seasoned oak, baked red apples and fruitcake, followed by warming vanilla and ripe tropical stone fruits. Rich and balanced.
Palate: The whisky is slightly oily in texture. Ground spices and old hardwood strike first chords in this elegant and rewarding dram, building up to brighter flavours of tinned pineapples, bitter orange peel and honey.
Finish: The finish builds up slowly with lasting sweetness, creaminess and notes of bitter chocolate.
