This rye is okay. The flavours that are there are very nice, definitely pastry, chocolate, and a good amount of spice. To me, it is ruined by the heavy and distracting ethanol flavour that makes this very astringent and unpleasant. For the money I'd always go with a Rittenhouse, Whistlepig, or even Lot 40 to be honest.
