A complex, smoky Bowmore from Elixir Distillers' Elements of Islay series, made with whiskies from 2001 and 2003, aged in ex-bourbon barrels and sherry butts for at least 16 years. Aromas of grapefruit, smoky charcoal, baked lemons, under-ripe mango and lime juice fill the nose. The palate offers notes of dark chocolate, candied limes, sea salt, papaya, kiwi and buttered samphire.
