A 27-year-old single malt from the Bowmore Timeless Series, matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, as well as first-fill oloroso sherry butts. Aromas of stewed plums, raisins, sultanas, toffee and liquorice fill the nose, complemented by notes of Montecristo cigars, roasted coffee beans, chestnut honey, beeswax and dark chocolate throughout the palate.

Initially matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks for 15 years, this complex single malt was moved to first-fill oloroso sherry butts for a further 12 years. Accompanied by an elegant hourglass, this is a whisky that deserves time to savour the aromas and flavours of this perfectly balanced and rich whiskies.

Nose

Fruity cooked plums and prune jam. Corinth raisins and sultana notes with a strong Oloroso influence. Toffee and maple syrup, liquorice, grilled orange peel and smoked seaweed.

Palate

Sweet with chestnut honey and strong bee’s wax, fresh leather and Montecristo cigar tobacco, roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate with a hint of oak tannins.
