Customer Reviews

  • Bengt

How much likeness wrt taste (if any) is there between this classic and a newer 10y classic-to-be?

  • Islayfan

Probably someone who knew what it is. The reason that this bottle is expensive is because it is a very rare distillery bottling from twenty or thirty years ago when very little of this cult whisky was available as a single malt. Very few of these bottles are still in existence - if your local Tesco is selling them for £20 I urge you to buy them all immediately and make a killing on eBay.

  • George Simpson

Must be a mistake. Who would pay £550 for a bottle of standard 10year old malt when I can get what looks like the same whisky for £20 in Tesco
